ASAP Ferg Signs Deal With RCA Records

Just announced today, a member of the ASAP Mob got signed today to the same label his homie ASAP Rocky got signed to. Although we dont know the amount yet, we do know that its a solo deal. Look for the 1st single titled Work due out January 22 on iTunes. For now check the video and here’s what his homie Rocky said

“I’m just proud right now because this is everything we wished and hoped for. A$AP Ferg worked hard for this and I put all my faith and backing into him. I feel like ‘Work’ is our generation’s ‘Sippin On Some Syrup’ [by Three 6 Mafia and UGK] or ‘Chickenhead’ [by Project Pat, La Chat and Three 6 Mafia], it has that feeling.”

ASAP Rocky Signs To RCA Records [News]

It seems like I just watched that Peso video and now I look up and the kid is signed. That goes to show that the industry wants and has no problem signing artist that are already ready and don’t need too much help with his or her music. Here’s whats Rocky had to say:

“I feel great about the new deal; I believe it was destined and with a label like Polo Grounds & RCA behind me I don’t see anything stopping us,” stated A$AP Rocky. “I wanted go with the right partner that can help get a bigger platform to get me and my A$AP crew’s music and movement out. I expect to be in the same league as today’s most relevant artists, and there are just some things you can’t do on your own. The plan is to not only release great music, culture, and style for myself and A$AP worldwide, but to also be the next major artist/exec in the business and make great business men out of my brothers.”
